These three principles are behind every great mix and master:

SOURCE FIRST

Great mixes start with great sources. I mix what you send. If a take needs comping, tuning, or cleanup, that’s a paid add-on — I’ll tell you before we start.

TRANSLATION

Your mix should sound outstanding on earbuds, laptop speakers, car stereos, and in clubs. I check every mix on multiple playback systems before delivery.

POP CRAFT

Modern pop is vocal-forward, with clean transients. Masters aimed at streaming (−9 to −11 LUFS, −1 dBTP) — competitive, without crushing.

A pop-focused engineer based in Portland

I mix and master modern pop, R&B-adjacent pop, and singer-songwriter records from my studio in the Portland metro area. My work focuses on vocal-forward mixing, disciplined dynamics, and the loudness and tonal targets that let songs sit next to major-label references on any playback system.
